Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    We are looking for an experienced Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager who will be able to drive sales in all areas, and develop key business relationships within the local area. You will need to prepare your own plans for the upcoming 12 months, alongside the General Manager, to ensure that you achieve this.

    As the Sales and Marketing Manager you will need to have extensive knowledge of the local area and current market conditions, as well as what’s going on events wise and business opportunities that will optimise profitability. You and your team will be tasked with negotiating and closing leads, through active selling and networking. Delivery is a massive part of this role, with you being the key link for our customers from booking to arrival, through to departure and follow on business.

  • The ideal candidate will have:
    • A charismatic personality
    • Excellent ability to interact with all types of guests
    • A proven track record of being part of team that has delivered growing sales and been able to convert those sales to an optimum profit within a similar business.
    • A sound knowledge of all aspects of online marketing, email marketing, social media, and using them strategically.
    • Skills in preparation and implementation of sales, marketing and business plans.
    • Managing and motivating teams, providing feedback and giving training when needed.
    • A personable approach; face to face, over the phone or through any other communication media.
    • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
    • Commitment, energy and enthusiasm.
    • High attention to detail and able to deliver
    • A real passion for service and premium products.
    • Own car with their own full clean driving license

Food and Beverage Assistant - full or part time

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    · Delivering 4star service to our guests

    · Working in all areas of our Food and Beverage Department, including the AA Rosette restaurant, the Bar and our Conference and Banqueting facilities.

    · Ensuring the hotel is presented to our 4 star standards at all times.

  • The ideal candidate will have:

    · The ability to engage with guests and staff

    · Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or a high end 3 or 4-star hotel

    · The ability to deliver a high level of guest care consistently

    · Fluent English skills

    · Attention to detail, ensuring they are well presented

    · Experience using tills and handling money

    · Flexibility in the hours of work and jobs undertaken

  • Apply:

    We are offering a full-time position on 35 hours per week with more hours often available. This role will work on a rota system of 5 days out of 7 and will include evenings and weekends. We will consider part-time applicants for this role - please state as part of your application that you are looking for part-time, and any restrictions you may have on the hours you are available to work.
