Chef de Partie

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Cooking to high standards for our a la’ carte and events menus using fresh ingredients.
    • Producing large volumes of food at a consistently high standard.
    • Looking ahead at forecasted numbers and ensure your section is adequately prepared.
    • Competently run a section of the kitchen with good working practices in wastage control.
    • Assisting in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends, demonstrating passion about developing new styles of service.
    • Assisting with stock taking as and when required.
    • Ensuring that all guests requests/food orders are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded
  • The ideal candidate will have:

    • Be a team player, assisting other team members when necessary

    • Have previous experience in a similar role in a 1 or 2 Rosette restaurant or busy city restaurant

    • Have a flexible approach to work.

    • Ideally have experience of working in a busy kitchen and potentially looking to progress to different sections in the future

  • Apply:

    This is a full time, permanent, year-round role. Usual hours of work are 48 per week, shifts will mix from splits and straight, depending on business requirements.

    Salary dependent on experience.

    Demi Chef de Partie will be considered dependant on experience.

Food and Beverage Assistant - full or part time

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    · Delivering 4star service to our guests

    · Working in all areas of our Food and Beverage Department, including the AA Rosette restaurant, the Bar and our Conference and Banqueting facilities.

    · Ensuring the hotel is presented to our 4 star standards at all times.

  • The ideal candidate will have:

    · The ability to engage with guests and staff

    · Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or a high end 3 or 4-star hotel

    · The ability to deliver a high level of guest care consistently

    · Fluent English skills

    · Attention to detail, ensuring they are well presented

    · Experience using tills and handling money

    · Flexibility in the hours of work and jobs undertaken

  • Apply:

    We are offering a full-time position on 35 hours per week with more hours often available. This role will work on a rota system of 5 days out of 7 and will include evenings and weekends. We will consider part-time applicants for this role - please state as part of your application that you are looking for part-time, and any restrictions you may have on the hours you are available to work.

Housekeeping: Casual Weekend Room Attendant

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    The Room Attendant is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team who collectively is responsible for the cleanliness and attention to detail of the hotel.

    The Room Attendant services guest rooms and guest housekeeping requests and is responsible for the overall comfort level of our guests and should provide impeccable service at all times.

  • The ideal candidate will have:

    · Good communications skills with a good command of the English language, both written and spoken

    · Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

    · Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile

    · Attention to detail, ensuring all areas are well presented and cleaned to a high standard

    Hours are Saturday 9am-2pm and Sundays 10am-3pm.
