Role: Team Member
Reporting To: Head Chef / Sous Chef
Department: Kitchen
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. Shifts will be a mixture of splits and straights, depending on business requirements.
Salary: Up to £12.50 per hour, to be discussed based on previous experience.The County Hotel, Chelmsford is expanding their kitchen operation and are therefore looking to recruit a Chef De Partie on a full-time basis.
There is the possibility of live-in accommodation at a decent rate (including utilities and food), if required for a suitable candidate.

The hotel is a 4 star city-centre 58 bedroom hotel, featuring the award-winning 1 AA Rosette Samphire Restaurant with busy conference and banqueting facilities in the heart of Chelmsford.

The Role:
Working to produce excellent breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, room service and bar meals.
Cooking to high standards for our 1 AA Rosette Restaurant.
Producing large volumes of food at a consistently high standard for conference and banqueting guests.
Looking ahead at forecasted numbers and ensure your section is adequately prepared.
Ensuring that all guests requests / food orders are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.

Experience:
Have experience of working in a busy kitchen and potentially looking to progress to Sous Chef in the long term.
This would be the ideal role for an already established Chef De Partie or Demi-Chef De Partie looking for their next step up, preferably within a hotel setting.

The Role:
The role of Maintenance Assistant will involve the following below.
To work under the guidance of our Maintenance Manager in completing daily maintenance jobs in the hotel.
Complete all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
To assist in the redecoration of hotel bedrooms and front of house public areas.
To ensure all areas are left clean and tidy on completion of the job.
Observe high standards of health and safety around the hotel.
The ability to communicate effectively with all members of staff and management and paying close attention to detail is imperative. You will work closely with the hotel’s Housekeeping Manager and Reception Manager.
The shifts for the role will vary each week based on business needs, including starting as early as 08:00 and finishing as late as 20:30, although this is rare. The work will be carried out between Monday – Saturday on a rota basis, with very occasional Sunday work required.

Experience:
A minimum of 1 years painting / decorating experience and ideally 1 years experience working back of house within a hotel.
Ideally, have some general knowledge / experience of plumbing, electrics, carpentry, plastering and engineering.
This would be the ideal role for an already established Maintenance Assistant, preferably in a hotel setting.

Salary: Up to £11.44 per hour, plus gratuitiesThe County Hotel, Chelmsford is looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate individuals as Food & Beverage Assistants to work on a casual, part time basis. Various roles available (morning, daytime and evening). The roles would commence from late August / early September.

The shifts for the role of Food & Beverage Assistant will generally include 07:00-15:00, 07:00-12:00, 08:00-16:00, 15:00-22:30 and 18:00-22:30, however alternative shifts may also be required for business needs.

Experience:
A minimum of 1 years customer service experience and ideally 1 years hospitality experience preferred, however full training will be provided, so we do welcome applicants who would be new to the industry.
