In Andrea Neale’s workshop you will work with various beads and charms to create eye-catching custom jewellery. The workshop is fun, creative and focused on design. You will make a piece of jewellery in colours and beads of your choice. You will work with basic tools, beads and finds and be shown how to make your own components. Enamelling professional, Toni Peers, will teach you all you need to know to get started. Enamelling is the use of a kiln to fuse powdered glass to metal, and can make lovely jewellery. In this workshop, you will learn to apply different glass media, such as Millefiori beads, fine glass rods, crystal enamel and frit glass, which can be ‘swirled’ in the kiln to create marbling effects. Expect to produce up to three enamelled pieces.
