Victorian themed craft activity

Thu, 21 May 2015 - 1:58am

Design and make your own mini Victorian bathing hut.

Bathing huts and machines are the colourful seaside buildings you see close to many British beaches. They were first used to protect the modesty of rich and fashionable bathers and became very popular in the Victorian period.

Have a go at designing and making your own version and then decorating it. You can be as bright and bold as you want to make your hut stand out.

Great fun for all the family and suitable for ages 4+
